Master Your MMA features some highly experienced coaches including Drew "The Master" Fickett who has fought 7 times in The Ultimate Fighting Championship and on many other televised and pay-per-view mixed martial arts events.  Drew Fickett was born and raised in Tucson , AZ beginning martial arts training at the age of 10 in 1990 in the eclectic martial art of Kajukenbo with Veon McCarrol.  He was an all-state wrestler at Salpointe Catholic High school who was coached by Joe Solorio and Tim Berrier.  Drew began training Judo at Tucson Judo in 1994 and received his Judo black belt from Steve Owens in 1998.  Drew joined the United States Marine Corp right out of high school and began his fighting career in Rage in the Cage #2 in 1999.  Drew decided to concentrate on attending school after attaining an impressive 6 and 0 record, but when his college wrestling career at Pima Community College was cut short from a devastating motorcycle accident "The Master" resumed his avid love for the fight game in 2001.  Over a 10 year career that Drew is currently still pursuing “The Master" has managed to accomplish a professional MMA record of 37-8.  Some of the opponents that you might be familiar with that "The Master" has smited gloves with include Dennis Hallman, Kenny Florian, Brandon Melendez, Nick Diaz, Karo Parisian, Kurt Pellegrino, and Josh Koshcek.  Drew Fickett has also competed in over 100 submission grappling\jiu-jitsu matches all over North America .  During his tenure of being a professional Mixed Martial Artist, Drew has also had the opportunity to be an avid MMA coach as well, helping those around him in the sport attain their own competitive and fitness goals.  Some of the students under his tutelage over the past 10 years have been the likes of Robert Maldanado, Tony Leon, Jesse Forbes, Jaime Varner, Joey Rivera, Amos Sotelo, Danny Lauzon, Sean Huff, Dominic Cruz, Danny Martinez, Ryan Kelly, Chad Detmeyer, Seth Bazcinski, Yaoutzin Meza and Ultimate Fighter standout Efrain Escudero.
